- You must be 18 years of age or older, or have parental/guardian permission if you are under 18.
- You are responsible for your own wellbeing and safety during and after our sessions together –No liability in this regard is accepted.
- All services are provided on a freelance basis.
- All sales are final.
- All services and sales are non-refundable
- All services are to be paid in advance via provided Stripe Link. Bookings are only final after payment.
- Cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full amount of the service scheduled.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason.
- We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments at any time, for any reason.
- These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
Styling Agreement
- Pre-Shooting Styling Service will be provided in form of a 30-Minute Zoom Meeting.
- Meeting must be scheduled via provided Calendly Link.
- The Pre-Shooting Styling will contain the service of consulting you for one brand outfit among your existing clothes, I might give advice for some suitable colors, styles and silhouettes.
- By cancellation of the Pre-Shooting Styling, no refunds are provided.
- By cancellation or no show of the Pre-Shooting Styling, you are not eligible for rescheduling the session.
- During the Shooting I am providing you with personal styling on set.
- In-Person Styling Service Pre-Shooting are available on request and with additional charges which are communicated upfront.
- Travel Expenses can occur for In-Person Styling Service, and are communicated upfront.
Photography Agreement
This agreement is between the client and Clare Sheridan of Clare J Sheridan Photography / Graceful Crane Creative.
The client understands that by working with the photographer, they are choosing the style of Graceful Crane Creative. The style seen in the photographer’s portfolio, is the style that will be delivered to the client. The client understands that by commissioning Clare J Sheridan Photography / Graceful Crane Creative, that the portfolio look will be the style of their final images.
Client responsibility
The photographer will guide and support the client during the shoot to achieve the best possible results.
The photographer is, however, not responsible for any body issues the client may have about themselves. While the photographer will work in a way to build confidence – by using the most flattering poses, lighting and compositions – they cannot be held responsible for any issues around the images regarding the client’s specific dislike of any wrinkles, weight, body shape, teeth etc.
Dates
Sessions are non-refundable. Please arrive 10 minutes early. If you are late for the start of your session, it could impact sessions booked after you. Your session will be cut shorter if you are late.
Image editing
The photographer’s brand and messaging is built around authenticity and the belief that every body is beautiful. The client understands that the photographer does not use Photoshop to change the appearance of the client. Basic editing, such as the removal of spots and blemishes will be carried out, but there will be no changes to the permanent features of the client.
Copyright
The copyright of the images will remain with the photographer. The client has permission for the following use of images: promotion of their business on various platforms to include but is not limited to their social media, websites and blog, and use of the images in the press for PR.
Usage permissions
The client does have permission to overlay text on the images where there is spare space. However, the client MUST NOT edit the images in any other way such as excessive cropping, adding filters, amending anything in the image with AI (including on Canva), or changing colours without prior discussion/written consent from the photographer. You can remove the background, leaving just you, if you wish.
The photos may not be given to any other businesses associated with the shoot (for example, a venue) for the promotion of their business without prior discussion with the photographer.
The client gives the photographer permission to use the images for their own marketing across their social media, website and blog. This will be of benefit to the client, as the photographer will make sure to tag and mention the client when using the images.
Please mention and tag the photographer, stylist and make-up artist when you use the images – best practice is to add a line to the bottom of a post (before any hashtags) stating ‘Photo by @gracefulcranecreative, styling by @aboutmichaela, make-up by @jessicatapiamakeup’ – making sure to tag these accounts on Instagram and Facebook.
Image delivery
Images will be ready to view 12 working days after the photo shoot (this may take longer during busy time periods). Photographer Clare will contact you via email to arrange a viewing session via Zoom, and you will then be able to choose the 6 images included in the shoot (and purchase more if you wish).
The images will be delivered via cloud storage service such as Google Drive, where the images can be downloaded in high-resolution and web-size. The photographer does recommend that the client downloads all the images and makes their own backups on and offline.
COVID_19
Symptoms: If you or anyone in your household display ANY symptoms of COVID_19 in the 7 days before your shoot, i.e. high temperature, fever, coughing, flu-like symptoms, loss of taste or smell, or you, a member of your household, or someone you have been in contact with, test positive for COVID_19, you MUST inform us immediately.
Data protection consent
- I consent to Clare J Sheridan, Michaela Leitz-Aslaksen and Jessica Tapia using the photographs to promote my business on your social media/blogs/websites and to advertise your business in the manner described.
- I consent to you sending me email communications about your business, events and promotions, you can opt-out anytime.
