How We Started
The genesis of Confidence & Style lies in Michaela Leitz’s personal journey of self-discovery.
Having experienced life as a size-zero woman who enjoyed unrestricted access to fashionable clothing, Michaela was rudely awakened to the discriminating reality of the fashion industry when she transitioned to being a plus-sized woman.
Frustrated by the limited clothing options available to her, she turned to Instagram to share her experiences, unintentionally garnering the support and appreciation of thousands of women facing similar obstacles.
Recognizing the overwhelming demand for inclusive fashion, Michaela devoted herself to studying fashion styling and image consulting, professionally equipping herself to empower plus-sized women in finding their own distinct style.
